The training focuses on Reverse engineering Windows Malware, starting with the fundamentals of reverse engineering, such as reading disassembly and using a decompiler. It guides participants through strategizing malware reverse engineering and covers advanced topics like unpacking, code injection and hooks, leading up to malware detection techniques. Participants will learn to reverse engineer various malware families including Ransomware, POS Malware, and RATs, written in languages like C++, .NET, and Golang and implementing various techniques such as packers, code injection, process hollowing, UAC bypass, and anti-analysis.
Additionally, you will gain insights into malware detection technologies like ETW, memory scanning which are building blocks of modern EDR’s. The training incorporates tools like Ghidra, Ollydbg, x64dbg, and DNSpy, teaching how to use these tools effectively and use them in appropriate scenarios. By the end of course, you would be able to reverse engineer complex malwares and detect them.
