Justin Chong

Justin Chong is a Senior RED Consultant for Privasec, an ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified independent Cyber Security Consultancy. He serves as the Offensive Security Lead for Privasec Asia, overseeing planning and execution of all engagements of that nature.

Justin has a wealth of experience working with clients from a broad range of industries, from the governmental sector, financial and fintech, to healthcare and the energy sector. He has been instrumental in the development of the Offensive Security capabilities of Privasec Asia, defining the methodologies that drive RED engagements and building up a team of consultants that make up Privasec RED.

He likes to lead by example, providing clients with the best standards of delivery while mentoring his team to strive for the same best-in-industry service. Even as he grows the team bandwidth for the Singapore office, Justin has undertaken business development duties with the spearheading of research into new service lines and optimisation of existing workflows.

Justin is also an Adjunct Lecturer for Cyber Security, teaching Ethical Hacking to both freshmen and mid-career professionals. He is a recognised CREST Practitioner Security Analyst (CPSA), CREST Registered Penetration Tester, certified ISO 27001 Lead Auditor for Information Security and Offensive Security Certified Professional.
