Jay Hira is a leading voice in cyber security, advocating fresh approaches, greater diversity and inclusion, and a Zero Trust mindset across the industry.

Jay has spent 16+ years of experience at the forefront of the international cyber security industry, helping financial services businesses ensure all their chess pieces are in order, protecting their most prized asset – data, strengthening cyber resilience, fostering customer trust and enabling growth. One of his biggest passions is explaining cyber security to audiences at all levels, believing everyone deserves to be safe online.

Jay has presented to business leaders at recent conferences, including Arab International Cybersecurity Summit in Bahrain, and AISA CyberCon 2022 in Australia, and has founded a non-profit, MakeCyberSimple, to connect skilled cyber security students with businesses in need of help. Jay is a member of ISC2, ISACA, AISA, AWSN chapters and actively works with Universities and Educators to support a smooth transition of students from various disciplines into cyber security.
