Allan Cabanlong is the Founder and CEO of CyberGuardians advising government agencies and non-government organizations on Cybersecurity framework, Policies and technology as well as help and educate victims of Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children(OSAEC). Previously he was the Assistant Secretary for CyberSecurity and Enabling Technologies of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT). He authored the National Cybersecurity Plan(NCSP) 2022 of the Philippines and organized the the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordination Center (CICC) and was concurrently designated as the Executive Director V (head of CICC). Allan is a recipient of various local and international awards in the field of Electronics Engineering, Information and Communications Technology(ICT), Law Enforcement and Cyber Security – to name a few he is one of the Honorees of the 2015 Asia – Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievements (ISLA) Awards in the Senior Information Security Professional Category awarded by the (ISC-squared).
In 2017 to 2018, He designed and implemented the CyberSecurity Management Systems Platform (CMSP) of the Philippines. CMSP is the National CyberSecurity Operations Center(NSOC) of the Philippines – the first of its kind for Philippine government, handled by the Philippines National Computer Emergency Response Team(NCERT).
